It’s hard to talk about this book because it definitely moved me. If you are looking for a heart-breaking story of MOURNING, GRIEF, GUILT and PTSD, you’re gonna love this book.

The story immediately catched me because we are following Cara, who is going to a BOARDING SCHOOL. And I LOOOOVE BOARDING SCHOOLS. Okay, there are a LOOOT of clichés we usually found in it, but I liked it.

BUT, I admit that sometimes, in terms of relationships and characters, these clichés annoyed me a bit, but it remains a SOLID first novel. I just would have loved a bit more depth ?

My FAV thing is the EMOTIONS the writing conveys. I had CHILLS, my heart was TIGHT, and I had so much COMPASSION for Cara’s story. It took me to the GUTS guys.

It’s a story of FRIENDSHIP, RECONSTRUCTION, NEW CHANCES, almost REBIRTH. So it’s a solid Young Adult that I have loved discovering.
