Lev Tolstói en el mundo contemporáneo

Este volumen recoge trabajos de expertos de diferentes campos de conocimiento humanístico, que reflexionan sobre el lugar que ocupa la personalidad y la obra de Lev Tolstói en el mundo contemporáneo. El gesto simbólico de la huida del anciano Tolstói, su compromiso ético y social con el pacifismo, teoría y práctica educativa y su papel en la divulgación de la filosofía oriental centran los estudios de los autores. Al mismo tiempo, se analiza la importancia que tuvo la obra de Tolstói en el desarrollo de la literatura y el pensamiento europeo y se ahonda en cuestiones relacionadas con la difusión de su legado en castellano y catalán. В этой книге собраны работы специалистов из различных областей гуманитарного знания, преследующие общую цель, - определить роль творческого наследия и личности Льва Толстого в современном мире. В центре внимания авторов находится последний уход писателя из Ясной Поляны, его проповедь непротивления, педагогическая теория и практика, вклад в распространение сочинений древних китайских мудрецов. Рассматривается вопрос о значении творчества Толстого в контексте европейской философии и литературы XX-XXI веков, а также затрагиваются проблемы перевода его произведений на испанский и каталанский языки. This book comprises the contributions of experts from different fields of humanistic knowledge, reflecting on the place of Lev Tolstoy personality and work in the contemporary world. The focus of the studies are symbolic value of the Tolstoy’s flight from Yasnaya Polyana, his ethical and social commitment to pacifism, his education theory and practice, and his role in the dissemination of Eastern philosophy in the West. At the same time, the authors discuss the importance that the Tolstoy’s work had in the development of European literature and thought as well they delves into issues related to the translation of his legacy into Spanish and Catalan.
