This was a good audiobook to listen to while I was working because the author repeats and over explains things so many times that I never had to rewind if I missed a sentence or two. I thought that the characters were a little melodramatic, but it’s a YA novel so that’s to be expected (also can YA authors please stop describing people’s eye colors in such intense detail? There are other features on the face!) The plot was pretty compelling and I might give the sequel a try too.
