This book was mid at best and I hated the ending

Amazing. 5 stars. Except she leaves it on a cliffhanger! Thank God all of them are on Kindle Unlimited! I will recommend to anyone who wants spice and a good storyline.

Tempt Me is the first book in the series and most of the series (except for the last book) is focused on this one couple. I am fairly new to this author but I absolutely loved this book and what it delivered with this one. It was so different from what I have read so far and I was completely addicted. This is a spicy intense romance with lots of hot scenes and some forbidden love. This does feature a boss and employee set up (so fair warning if that isn't your cup of tea) but I absolutely love this set up and Tucker really handled it so well. I really liked their "meet cute" and the atmospheric descriptions of Alaska (makes me want to move there haha) and there is something so edgy and thrilling type of feeling to this story. I really enjoyed the dynamic. The hero is so badass alpha, competent and a man of power and money but also one that has integrity and honor in many ways. The heroine is sweet, sheltered and a virgin. She does have a religious background so her innocence and naivete makes sense and she is recovering from dealing with her friend and boyfriend of years cheating on her. Their dynamic is intense from the very beginning as they are learning each other but their growth in this book as we get the very beginning of their relationship is what will carry them through the whole series. The writing is addictive and this one is a very quick read and you will be immediately swept through the story.

This was fun but I was expecting some sort of real conflict and not just a cliffhanger ending. I'm not hooked enough on their love story to want to read book 2.

I got this series on audio during the big audible sale last week, i’ve seen it talked about a lot so I figured it was time! so far I’m intrigued and also pre-stressed knowing this is only book 1. 

For the 2nd book I’m anticipating at least 11 major eye rolls, 4 “please stop being dramatic and just talk to each other”s, 2 majorly d!ckish moments from henry, and definitely a minimum of 1 vindictive 3rd party(s).

I knew it was only 1 pov, but definitely wish we had at least some insight as to what was going on in henry’s head
