I struggled with how to rate this book; it was a fine story. I enjoyed the characters for the most part, even though Diana annoyed me a fair amount, and the plot, while predictable (think: she's not like other girls), was solid. However, there wasn't anything special about this story. It didn't get me excited and I wasn't very invested in what happened to the characters. I simply didn't feel any real emotions reading this.
It felt fairly long and like there was a little too much going; I think it could benefit from cleaning up the subplots a bit so they fit better with the overall story.

Note: I can't speak for how accurate the mental health rep and asylum scenes are in this story, and I will leave that for other reviewers and readers to speak on.
