I love this series! Mma is thrown into multiple cases and has to get the help from her assistant and an ex con. There’s the case of the hidden stranger in her room, leaving with no pants, the mysterious pumpkin, the theft of her mini white van as well as other mysterious that need solving for her husband. Throw in the mix, her former husband Note returning, one of which she never divorced.

I didn't like this book as much as the others... I think it's the weakest for now... First of all there was no real case and second I'm not one to forgive and forget so this thing with Note and how Mma Ramotswe forgave him was boring (and all the story, too) so I really fast forwarded some things and I never do this unless the book is really boring. But now Note is gone so I'm sure I'll like the next books. Another thing that I'm starting to resent... Mma Makutsi's 97 per cent... Really... does she have to repeat it twenty times in each book??? We know she got that score from the beginning and I know that the repetitions are for that poor soul who didn't read the previous books but suddenly decides to read this one (why reading the 6th book if you didn't read the 1st is beyond me but I know it happens) but it's starting to get to me...
