No One Asked for This Essays

Very engaging. Relatable.

Although there were some things in the book i related to (severe anxiety being the main and only one) this felt like an entitled, spoiled adult writing about things they couldn’t have and the things they got they complained about. I wish it could have been more because i was actually excited to read it.

Did I enjoy reading this? No. Do I empathize with anxieties that plague teens & 20s? No. Do they exist in spite of my lack of empathy? Yes. Was this book a helpful view into those anxieties and attitudes? Yes. Am I glad I read it? Not sure...
