Even if you made the right choice, followed the right rules, took the right risks, kept your cool, made the right friends, didn’t walk alone home after dark, kept a rape whistle in your pocket, and guarded your drink at bars.

Great thriller. Kept me wondering how it would all turn out. Loved that it was so much bigger than just the main characters and how they tied it in.

Another great thriller. Kept me on the edge of my seat and I really didn’t know what to expect for the most part. It did have quite a bit of repetitiveness that I personally thought was overdone. The plot is heavy AF.

i ate this up! i loved olivia and laura and how they were always thinking of one another. i did sadly guess the first plot twist and half of the second. but i really did like the plot, and it kept me on my toes.

There was something about this one that just didn't work for me. The story was plausible but not probable. It just didn't seem realistic for the villains to be after the main characters. Yes, there's a connection but again, it's just weak. I truly disliked this book but don't give up on this author!! I rated another one of hers at a 5.

i enjoyed all of the twists and turns in the book. It did kind of drag for me unfortunately in some scenes and i found myself skimming through the book which i don’t usually do.

I was hooked at the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Then I started to get bored as the story continued!

A solid enough survival horror/thriller novel. The hunter versus hunted dynamic was the strongest aspect by far. Unfortunately, as someone who was alive and used cellphones in 2006 (the setting of the book) the technological inaccuracies did bother me. I hate to be so petty, but it did take me out of the otherwise immersive game of cat and mouse at hand.

It was suspenseful and a interesting read but pretty predictable.

Really good book but honestly creeped me out.

Cue creepy horror music…Anxiety level critical.  I am breathing in shallow breaths and my knuckles are white from clenching and unclenching my fist. The fear that is being invoked is intense.   Reading a horror story is more thought provoking than watching and my mind was racing.  I read this book at a high rate of speed, and it is still consuming my waking hours and my dreams as well.

Laura and Olivia are on their way to a bonfire out in the backwoods of Idaho. There is no cell phone service, they are miles away from civilization and now they are stuck in the worst nightmare of all…a game of cat and mouse.  They have no idea who is following them or why.  Olivia being the overthinker and lover of true crime cannot push away the feeling that this situation is going to go from bad to worse.  

When I tell you I was on the edge of my seat through this entire book.  I felt like I was in the car with Laura and Olivia experiencing the unthinkable.  It is a wild right from start to finish. I couldn’t breathe, I was jumping up and down, screaming I am positive everyone in my general vicinity now believes I am crazy.

From start to finish the story Noelle weaves is one of survival and it will mess with your head as you realize that this could be reality.  Its dark, dangerous, and refreshing.  Run on Red is thought provoking, making you wonder how you would handle a situation like this if it were to arise.  Would you survive?
