I just knew that I was going to love Not My Match from the start. Like how can I resist Giselle and Devon when they are having a forbidden romance. That just makes the romance story so much spicier. You know? Giselle and Devon have insane chemistry for each other that we keep rooting for them even when they deny their chemistry at first. You can’t deny true love even when your past keeps coming back. It just makes your love stronger.

I really enjoyed Giselle and Devon’s book. At first I thought she was going to be a bad sister but she really felt bad about what happened between her and Preston, so she deserved a HEA and seeing her with Devon was the best. They had a slow burn but their chemistry was always there and I loved their banter and their steamy scenes. Devon was wonderful too, he had some problems with his dad but he always cared for him and it was really sweet how he treated Giselle. It was a really good book and I hope we get the chance to read about Topher and Quinn, even Aiden.

I received an e-arc of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Giselle is down on her luck. After a string of unfortunate events and a bad split from her fiancé, she needs a change. Enter Devon, football star and Giselle’s brother-in-law’s best friend. When Devon offers her a place to stay and to be her matchmaker, she can’t refuse. I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I haven’t read the first book in the series, and if I had, my opinions might be a little different. But I enjoyed Giselle’s character and her interactions with Devon. The chemistry between them was spot on. I was rooting for the pair from the start and who can resist a roommates to lovers trope. I’m definitely interested in picking up the rest of the series.
