Not My Romeo

3 Stars! Hi BookLover's, I have never ever read any book that the Hero have so much trust issue that I can barely understand the book but I manage to finish it. Proud of myself hehe.. It was an okay book. It was not that bad but I'm not really into it. My heart is not fully invest into the book so I don't know. I don't know how I feels about all of this, about the book, I did try to put myself into the character but I couldn't. So yeah..... Recommended! :) xoxo

Throw in a charming small southern town with an adorable cast of characters ... well, you have Not My Romeo. I loved the story from the first word. If you are a fan of sports romances then this book is for you.

Listened to the audio book- I loved this book, the awkwardness, the story line, the conflict. I loved it all. The small town vibes were amazing.

Super cute fast pace free Amazon Reading AudioBook. Was almost like a cheesy Hallmark Movie and a Reddit story had a baby. 😅 I love it. I loved the southern, hometown, Nashville football player public librarian vibes. It was sweet. A little past trauma as one should and was just cute as a button. Not super super spicy but a few scenes had me looking at my car stereo crazy. Overall was a 2 day sweet little read that I throughly enjoyed.

“You are only confined by the rules you set for yourself. Live your life” I am a bit obsessed with sports romance novels and Not My Romeo was just so fun and fresh, how could I not love it?! I thought Elena was terrific as a protagonist. I really loved her personality and she was just so lovely and relatable. And Jack! Where can I find one?! I loved him from the first minute he was introduced. These two were absolutely perfect for each other and honestly it’s the kind of love I hope to have one day. The plot was also amazing. I couldn’t put the book down, I sped through it in a day. I loved all the events and the side characters really helped drive the book. Kudos to Madden-Mills for writing such a great book…and thanks in advance for breaking my bank account - I need to buy all her books now! I would absolutely recommend this book, not only if you love sports romance, but if you just love a good fun romance book in general! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Not my Romeo is another wonderful book by Ilsa! I loved reading about Jack and Elena, he is a famous football player and she’s a librarian that met thanks to a confusion. Jack was amazing, he had a rough childhood and a bad breakup so he finds it hard to trust people, but he and Elena hit it off from the first moment they met, and their chemistry was definitely off the charts. Elena was awesome too, she loves books and apart from that, she loves to create lingerie. She had a great relationship with her family, specially her aunt and despite having a problem with her sister she never wanted for her to being treated badly, so I loved how down to earth she was. I also really enjoyed how Jack and Elena couldn’t keep their hands of each other, every time they met they ended up together and I loved how little by little they started trusting each other, even though it was a big deal, especially for Jack. Now I can’t wait to dive in to the next book to read Giselle and Devon’s story!❤️

3.5! I loved the blind date/meet cute setup, but it did drag during the middle. I do want to read more sports romances from Isla Madden-Mills now!
