Short. Good. I liked the characters but I'd prefer more of the modern time vs. the past. I don't know if I've said this about these before or not but I haven't yet read TID and these have a good bit of Tess, Will and Jem's lives in them so you should definitely read those first. It's laid out well enough for those of us who haven't but it does give things away if you're not familiar with the basic story (which I was before I started reading these). 

I do think the backstories are helping Simon remember who he was before his memory was taken but only time will tell.

I really get sucked into these books. I am so in love with where simon is going in this book. I loved learning more about tessa son and the impact/ connection that has to simon story! FAST read!

There are times, while I'm reading these novellas, when I think if I really need to read them before starting Lady Midnight, and then I'm hit with a shitload of feels and I'm convinced why I should keep reading them. Because here I am, tearing up at every fucking mention of Jem, and Will and Tessa, and unable to properly function.

LO AME LO AME LO AME

Que hermoso libro, debo decir que jamas pensé que me gustaría tanto una de estas historias y fue la razón por la cuál lo termine en tiempo record. 

En primer lugar les hablare un poco de que trata la historia: resulta que en ésta oportunidad, Cassandra nos trae la historia de como James Herondale, hijo de Tessa y Will, conoce a su parabatai, Matthew Fairchild quien es el hijo de la Cónsul, es decir, Charlotte. No quiero ahondar en la historia porque creo que vale la pena que cada uno de ustedes la lea y la disfrute de la misma manera en que yo lo hice. Solamente quiero resaltar que estoy enamorada de James Herondale y esto de amar tanto a un personaje no me pasaba hacia mucho tiempo. James es demasiado bello y especial (de muchas maneras que no quiero decir) y eso es lo que lo hace tan interesante como personaje en mi opinion personal. 

Ahora bien, por otro lado, Simon está haciendo amigos de verdad finalmente y mas que eso, se ha estado dando cuenta quienes son de verdad sus amigos. Siento que estar en la academia se asemeja tanto a un colegio normal que me da pesar por Simon, sin embargo, lo esta haciendo bastante bien. 

Finalmente, no me queda decir mas que hasta ahora, esta ha sido la historia que más me ha tocado, en todos los sentidos, desde los personajes, unicos como solo Cassandra Clare los sabe hacer, hasta sus pequeños dramas diarios, que debo decir, me hacen sentir realmente dramatica con mis problemas mundanos.

Io sono James Herondale in versione femminile, mi rivedo tantissimo in lui! Comprese le prese in giro e tutto il resto, a scuola non mi volevano bene xD
Poi Simon è migliorato un sacco *-*. Finalmente sta pensando come il vero Simon che abbiamo conosciuto durante la serie di The mortal instruments, era anche ora!
