Dallas Van Zant...Water polo god.Shameless flirt.Beautiful disaster in the most literal sense of that label. Trust me, it's not hyperbole. He's in big trouble with the law. What does this have to do with me, you ask? Unfortunately, a lot.For some reason, which I still can't quite wrap my brain around, I've been talked into driving him around as part of his plea deal. Problem is, he makes me nervous. I'm not good with people, men in particular, popular athletes especially. I've worked really hard to get my disability under control and one minute in his company and all my hard work flies out the window.To top it all off, I promised myself that I was going to make some serious changes this year. I'm tired of feeling awkward around boys. I'm tired of never having had a boyfriend. I'm tired of being lonely. But I'm also not the type to turn away a person in need. So I'll do what I must to help him out. I'll just pretend that I'm not enjoying his company. And I'll ignore the fact that he's sweet and funny. And I'll tell myself every day that he's out of my league.Because I'm as inexperienced as they come...and Dallas Van Zant is nothing but wild.

I LOVED this book! I’ve never read anything from this author before, and I’m not entirely sure why I signed up to promote this book but I’m SO glad I did! 
The passion the characters have come through, as do their feelings. I love the one-liners as well as the deep thoughts. The supporting cast are awesome and I can’t wait for their books! Dallas and Brock in particular. I’d love to see Owen’s as well.
One thing I will say is at times it seems like this isn’t the first book in the series and prior knowledge of the characters has been imparted somewhere else. But it’s a very small complaint in what is an incredible book! Grab a copy now!

I loved this book! I loved Dallas in the first book and he did not disappoint in this one.
I love a flawed hero and Dallas is the definition, but his journey is a great one.
I liked Dora, I liked how much sass she had.
This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!

P. Dangelico works can be a hit or miss, and no matter how much I tried to make an attempted to like one of her works, it's either the writing style or characters that ruin my overall reading experience. With that being said, this fell under both categories believe it or not

Let's start off with the storyline: it fell flat. I was near the halfway mark and there wasn't anything gravitating me to what was happening, who was doing who, why the heroine kiss our drunk hero, why he kept her phone, and yada yada yada. The story was unoriginal, dull, slow paced and too much of a snoozefest for me to continue on.

Lastly the characters were b-o-r-i-n-g af. Dora was painfully ruined the beginning of the novel for me. Her constant insecurities about her weight were mention non stop. Don't get me wrong I love the BBW trend that's been happening as of late but seeing the same repetitive "I'm too fat, I need to lose weight" scenes page after page became tiring after a while and I nearly had to put this book down to wrap my head around why I couldn't find one redeeming quality about this. In addition to that, let's not forget Dallas: he's a disaster waiting to happen and I honestly couldn't picture a future where him and Dora relationship would actually work out.

Needless to say, not worth the time nor energy finishing the one out.
