I have to start this review with yet another iteration of the fact that short stories are just not my thing, especially short stories of this particular kind. These stories are short, sweat and quite readable. They all seem to have a fable like point although sometimes the twist happens so suddenly that the story finishes without the reader being able to catch on to the main point. Many of these same stories had a deus ex machina sensation to them. These are nice little stories but not my cup of tea.
