This novel is probably one of my favorites by this author. The idea is so captivating and really fun to read about, although the story itself is not funny at all ahahah.

The book tells us the story about Tertualiano Máximo Afonso, a history teacher, who, while watching a movie at home, finds a man exactly like him. He then starts a journey looking for this man in the movie.

I had already seen the movie based on this book called "Enemy" (2003) with one of my favorite actors Jake Gyllenhaal and I had really really liked it, hence why I choose to read the novel. Plus I heard people say the two were very different and I can definitely agree with that. Although I loved both I think they are totally distinct from each other except obviously the main thing: the two-man being exactly similar to each other.
