This is a short novella about a couple that practice two different forms of magic. The couple's differences have to unite together to overcome an odd spirit they encounter. This was a quick read, but pretty basic. There are a couple of good quotes sprinkled throughout. It was pretty average, but a fast read for spooky season.

This is a short sweet and interesting story to lose yourself in. Definitely looking forward to trying more from this author

I liked this book a lot, I feel like it was a really well told short story for its 81 page runtime. I don't usually read romance so this was a nice little break for me personally, as well.

I did connect with Rhys and Moira as characters. Despite being so different they click and feed off each other well, even in the major argument scenes. 

This is a self published -- or perhaps independently published -- book, and my only critique is related to that possibly; sometimes I was taken out of the story by incorrect punctuation and word usage, especially in the latter half to three quarters of the book. It didn't happen often, however, so that doesn't affect it all that much.

One last note, I really appreciate the Bisexual and POC representation in here. ❤️
