High Risk Rookie

High Risk Rookie

Odette Stone2021
He's a gifted hockey player who can't get his act together. The moment I heard about Levi Ziegler, I had a bad feeling in my gut. As a seasoned sports agent, I just knew he was going to be trouble. But despite my reservations, as a favor to the GM of the Vancouver Wolves, I agreed to sign this young, wild player as a client. One reckless night, One terrible mistake, and suddenly my entire world, and everything I have worked for, is on thin ice. Thanks to my rookie. I shouldn’t work with him professionally, because I can't seem to keep my hands off him. The more tangled our lies get, The more complicated our relationship becomes. Can I figure out how to get him signed with the team, while keeping him out of my bed and my heart? He's a high risk rookie, and he's a liability I can't resist.

I adored this book. Absolutely love krista and I’m so glad she got her own story!!! And don’t even get me started on Levi. Perfect all around. The plot just keeps me so interested and I never wanted to stop reading. They matched so well and I love how they helped each other and learned more about each other so well. I do wish we got more of the other characters in the book, more specifically- Max. Simply because I’m obsessed with him. Even though it’s a stand alone series, I feel that it’d be nice to include relationships with the other books or at least have them be mentions. Can’t wait for the next book!!!!

This was both the best and worse book in the series. Reasons for the worst: Krista is whiny, her family is terrible (like obviously fakely terrible), and too many side plots that did not officially come to a close. Like I was completing stories in my own head and they were PRETTY GOOD, so I'll probably finish in a fanfic. JUST KIDDING. Her family and their side story almost ruined the entire book, yes I already mentioned them but it was so bad had to say it twice. But on the other note it was the best because fucking Levi. He was beautiful in my mind, never swayed from how he felt, and that shower scene👀👀 ooo-weee. It was a cute meet story, lots of secrecy.

This one made me angry because Krista family is trash. 🤢 Levi needed more backstory in my opinion. The phrase age gap was said too many times, but how old is Krista! Like is the age gap small or is it unacceptable?
