Town planner Jensen's doctoral dissertation submitted to the Nordic School of Planning in Stockholm, presented in parallel columns of Danish and English. He argues that knowledge is found in three formulas: those of culture, of society, and of creativity. He introduces three metaphysical maps of knowing and shows how the job of philosophy is to build bridges between them, and the job of social sciences to cross those bridges.
