Abel is an assassin and frequently finds himself up against a fellow assassin, the seductive and deadly, and if totally truthful, downright nuts Frankie! Abel is hiding his shifter side from her, after all he lost his previous fiancee as she couldn't handle his wolfy side. Frankie has her own secrets, who wants a relationship with a female who has been trained since essentially childhood to be a deadly weapon? But as their worlds finally collide, will they escape unscathed or will the heat the feel when they are together explode and leave a far reaching fallout. A rapid paced but fully fledged read. These characters just leap off the page and into your head! The dialogue is wisecracking and down right dirty when the steam erupts! I loved seeing Abel's former SWAT colleagues trying to still include him in their activities, he's not the lone wolf he thought he was! FUR was a nice tongue in cheek reference to the shifters they are and I can't wait to read more in this series!
