This series and especially the book is my favorite fantasy series so far of all time. Fallon is relatable in a way that isn't overly annoying and the chemistry between her and Lore is unmatched. The scenes in this book make Silver Flames look tame. A few times I got the ick from her use of a certain word but the storyline develops wonderfully while still maintaining the spice, romance, and relationship building. I am upset that I found this series while it was still being written because the cliffhanger has me in shambles and I don't want to wait a week to read what happens next!

I’m hate reading this series at this point. This book is 519 pages, and nothing good/interesting/or integral to the plot happens until probably page 430. Speaking of plot, again, until the last like 100 pages, there was literally no plot and I had no idea what the plot could even be. She has written one of the densest female characters I’ve ever read - even Bella Swan guessed Edward Cullen was a vampire but this FMC is so clueless she drives women’s right backwards. The spice is ridiculously mid. Would not recommend this series.
