An underwhelming finish to an underdeveloped series storyline. The first half of the book was characters doing full 180’s on their personality and shoehorning ideas into the plot to make it work. Then the second was resolving complicated problems very quickly and simply. Half the time I didn’t even know what was happening because of how this author writes. Even the romance didn’t progress from the second book, which was the only decent part of that book. Some interesting ideas, just very under-executed.

Loved the next chapter in Fallon and Lores story. After the ending of this book though I am annoyed to hear that book 4 will be in a different POV. I understand we will get more of the storyline but Fallon and Lores story isn't over and I need it in their POV. Very much reminds me of when SJM switched over the Nesta for ACOSF. Overall the action, romance, love, and grief makes this an amazing book that I had to force myself to read slowly since we have to wait until June 2024 to see what happens next!
