Omens

****An ARC of Omens by Suzanne Wright was generously provided to me via NetGalley in exchange for honest review. it's honestly been quite a while since the last time i visit 'dark in you' universe and man, it's refreshing! though to be quite honest, i can't seem to recall the details except that i adore harper, knox, and of course, our little asher, because again, it's been quite a while. this time, it's khloe's story. i definitely can feel the chemistry between khloe and keenan, but somehow it's not... as exciting as i thought it would be, mostly because khloe's such a strong girl and yet keenan's presence it's not punching a hole at all. it's almost like khloe's struggling alone and he's not exactly helping except for the scenes where his 'alpha'ness shows, like during love scenes. but other than that, sorry to say, keenan's character is definitely less strong than the in the previous books. but overall this one made me want to reread the series and yes! i can't! wait! for! raini's! story! aaaaa!

‘Omens’ is thus far my most favorite installment of the ‘Dark in You’ series. It centers around Khloe, an imp, who was a breath of fresh air, relatable and laugh out loud funny. The way she drove our beloved incubus, Keenan, crazy with her antics were the most memorable scenes aside from getting a bit more background info as to why Khloe is the way that she is. As always, the author did a fairly decent job building a world where readers can easily dive into and building the characters and their storylines. She also teases readers with a glimpse of the next couple on our list, Raini and Maddox which I seriously can’t wait for because something tells me their installment is going to blow everything else out of the water.

Mother fucker I loved Keenan and Khloé 🥲 And now I wait for Raini and Maddox 🥺

*Received ARC in exchange for an honest review* Rating: 5 Stars bookboyfriendsdoitbetter.com At first I was a little bit hesitant about Khloe and Keenans story because I saw them more as side characters. BUT Suzanne Wright has shown me the error in my thinking and reminded me why she is my favorite author!! I loved Klhoe and Keenan so much! I actually read this twice before it released because I needed a quick SW fix lol. My favorite part was Khloe's relationship with Asher! Oh my god those moments were soooo adorable!! ***on vacation. Better review coming later***
