Sal, Max, and Enzo Bruschetti have spent their entire lives keeping a low profile. As their criminal empire has grown more diverse, they have relied on an increasingly complex web of financial arrangements to keep their business safe. Now wealthy and aging, they have decided to retire from crime.But when New York actor Harry Murphy inadvertently overhears the Bruschetti brothers plotting to tie-up lose ends, he is stricken by conscience and decides he must intervene. After flying to London in an attempt to warm one of the intended victims, Harry is caught in a shootout, forced into a high speed chase, mistaken for a Bruschetti agent, and handed a suitcase filled with cash. Out of his depth and in over his head, Harry is soon apprehended by the British authorities. Paired with a sexy and unorthodox special agent, Harry is sent back to New York in the hope that his theatrical talents can help flush out the mysterious Bruschettis. But after being abandoned by his handlers, threatened with castration, and forced to leap into the Hudson River, Harry decides to take matters into his own hands. What follows is a wildly entertaining game of cat and mouse in which cops, criminals, corpses, and plot twists pile up faster than SAG members at an open audition. Tense, funny, and just plain fun, the action races around New York before returning to England and culminating in a deadly confrontation on the windswept moors.
