That was an a very quick read - partly because it wasn't that long but also because I needed to know who did it. 

Now, some people are very good at figuring out who did it early on in thrillers and mysteries. Sometimes I feel like I know who did it, only to be led astray, which is usually the authors main motive when writing these types of books. With One Little Secret, I felt it in my bones that I knew who it was, and I got it wrong a couple of times, but then about the last 4th of the book, I DEFINITELY knew who it was. Knowing isn't a turn off for me as it is for many other people though. Getting to the character's minds is very intriguing and we get multiple points of views in the time frame of just two days which makes everything more urgent. I was just a tad bit disappointed in the ending, but it might be because I didn't want it to end THAT way (I don't want to give a spoiler). 

All the characters were very well developed and their individual narratives were all captivating. I definitely felt my adrenaline spike a couple of times when I was reading. This would be a great beach read... or maybe not because it might make you paranoid (haha, bad joke). But it would. It's really quick to get through!

Excellent thriller, highly recommended!

This is a character-driven psychological thriller that illustrates just how fine the line between love and obsession can truly be and reminds us that every choice, good or bad, has a consequence.

The writing is crisp, polished and fluid. The characterization is spot on with a multitude of characters that are multi-faceted, insecure and vulnerable. And the plot is an intricately interwoven tale that unravels piece-by-piece creating tension, unease, and suspicion as it subtly reveals all the personalities, relationships, motivations and actions within it.

Part mystery part thriller, This book follows three couples who go on holiday together. After an explosive first night, one of them is found dead on the beach. But who committed the murder? And why?

An interesting book with a satisfying ending. The writing was good although the story fell a little bit during the middle. All in all it was good. I’d recommend this to fans of Liane Moriarty.

I'm a huge fan of Cate Holahan after reading Lies She Told so I was very excited when I saw her new book. It had plenty of twists, turns, and secrets.

Susan sets up a vacation for her neighbors and her over-worked husband so that they can all get to know each other better and have some kids-free conversation. After lots of liquor is consumed, the three couples start to pick up on tension in each other's marriages and when they wake up the next morning, a woman is found dead on the beach. As everyone starts looking at each differently, secrets and lies come out and they realize every couple is hiding something.

The beginning of this book instantly drew me in and I could not stop reading, I read this entire book in less than 24 hours and I have no regrets. The plot was amazing and there was never a dull moment when I considered putting this down. The animosity between some of the characters really added to the intrigue and made the ending of this book so much more interesting because trust me, you're not ready for this ending. I felt like I was on a tilt-a-whirl trying to figure out whom the murderer was and looking at all of the character's motives.

An excellent, excellent book that you will not regret reading.
