It is the story of Harry Clifton, starting in 1919 when he was born, through his schooldays and finishing at the start of the Second World War. Just when you think the loose ends are tied up, Archer produces another one. This is the first of a trilogy, and I'm now going straight into the second book to continue the story....

I had read this one a long time ago and had loved it at that time as well. I got back to Only Time Will Tell - Jeffrey archer as I came across the books after this in the Clifton series and realised that I had never finished the whole set.
I am looking forward to reading all of them.
