As the cage descended, Blaise met her eyes, allowing his mask to crack with the briefest of smiles and the slightest of nods.

She’d come to that conclusion early on in his trail, but his frightened blue eyes — locked on her in such a way, so desperate, so unsure — had prevented her from giving anything less than every sentence of research she’d collected on him.

You’re right. I never do as I’m told. Try harder next time.

Of making them look redeemable, even when their family ties stain them black.

“Don’t take it away,” and now he sounds as though he’s pleading,  “Don’t. Don’t take away the only thing I can feel. The only thing I want to feel.”

“You took away everything. I couldn’t feel anything. No pain, no you, nothing.” And then a cold laugh falls from his lips. “And I’m sorry, but I just don’t accept that.”

“Tell me you hate me,” he seethes, inches from her face, ripping her clawing hands away and holding them by the forearms in a vise. He gives her a rough shake. “Huh? Tell me. Fucking tell me.”

“Clearly, you need a way to rid yourself of all the rage you’ve built up towards me. We won’t get anywhere until you do. So do it,  Be rid of it. I’m right here.” He spreads his arms wider.

“I didn’t think I could have both.”

4 years late to finishing this and i need therapy because this actually ruined me.

i loved it way too much and actually teared up at parts it was crazy.

everything about it was perfect except for one specific thing i didnt like : the end with the letter and the 2 years. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

let them be happy wizards together 💔💔

something that really marked me about this is that unlike many other stories about these two, the trio wasn’t ruined and actually got back to talking!!!

This was my first adventure into dramione fanfic and I have to say I was SO pleasantly surprised. As someone who remembers the wattpad era, I did go into this with some skepticism. However, BM/BS was beautifully written and well thought out! I admit, after having read HP like a million times it was a little odd for me to explore these characters from a different author’s perspective. But after a couple of chapters of exploring the characters I was FULLY in.

My second Dramione FanFic (first was Manacled) and while it did not have the same depth as Manacled, it was so so good. I would probably recommend this as a first Dramione FanFic. It is still dark, so check TWs, but it wouldn't be Draco and a post-war Hermione without it.

Book Review

Some may not consider fanfiction real books but after reading 148,908 words of pure perfection I must review it and count it as a book. Omg where to begin: trauma, staying true to characters, smoking spicy scenes, good plot, and me ending up emotionally sad that it's over.
