Okay, this wasn't a bad book, it was far from it, but it also wasn't anything special. It somehow didn't give me that plus that makes me invest in a book and I also didn't really grow attached to any of the characters nor find a way to like them. I found Kira especially dumb at some places and somewhat a Mary Sue (but she had the guts and I loved that). The general plot was what made me want to keep reading because the idea of mindreaders and -jackers and just the entire world Quinn has described was so interesting in my opinion. It just wasn't exciting enough for me, but it's likely that I'll read the next part when it comes out.

So much happened in this book that I was like fuck are we sure this isn't the trilogy? Well thought out concept and I rather enjoyed it quite some. At first glance I thought this was going to be a love triangle but it turned out not to be and for that I was grateful. Kira annoyed me in the beginning because of her endless pity party, eventually I got over it. She's a good book heroine.

Good story! My only opinion is that the author should have had a page in the beginning that defined some of the words used in the book. I'm pretty sure I caught the gist of what the words meant but the definitions would have been helpful.
