This is the first sci-fi middle grade that I have read. I don't think I've even heard of any other sci-fi middle grade books. It was amazing! 

This book follows the Orion on its journey to a new home for everyone on board. Along the way, an unknown event occurs, leaving 13-year-old Beth as the senior crew member. Her fellow crew members are also children. Even though they have been taking Command class, they are not prepared for what's to come.

I loved this book so much! The characters are fantastic. The story is fantastic. I listened to most of it, and the narrator is fantastic as well. I hope there will be more soon!

This was exceptional and made me realise scifi in middle grade is really under represented. There needs to be more esp of this quality. The characters were great and I have a new fave and the plot was brilliant. I loved the hints at things throughout the book and how it led you one way then twisted another. Just excellent.
