On the hunt for clues, she meets Tavian, a sexy Japanese fox-spirit who rivals Zack and challenges her to embrace her shapeshifting. Revised my rating down to 1 star, because this book has irritated me. I feel like there was a lot more that could have been done with the ideas, and I'm disappointed in the writing. The main character was irritating. I don't like being mean about books, and I didn't hate this one. I usually rate based on expectation vs reality (so there can be highly-rated silly books as long as I had fun) and/or overall value to me, and in both of those systems I feel like this was a letdown for me.

Some others seemed like like it, so YMMV I guess.
