Wintercombe

Lady St Barbe is left in charge of her Somerset home, Wintercombe, when her husband and eldest son are away fighting for the Roundheads. Brutal enemy soldiers threaten her home but real danger appears in the guise of a friendly officer who arouses dormant passions.
