I debated if I should give it 2.5 or 3 stars but I decided on 3 stars. I understand why this is a classic, the structure of it is really interesting and inspiring and the writing is absolutely beautiful.

But, I just didn’t like the long tiring chapters about war. I really loved the poetry about romance, nature, astronomy, etc…

It took me a whole month to finish it just because I was so tired and bored by the long war parts, but I felt like 2.5 stars won’t recognize the author’s talent enough.

Potrafię docenić Pana Taduesza jako dzieło literackie, jednak nie rozumiem, dlaczego jest to lektura dla klas ósmych.
Język jest trudny, a w czytaniu wcale nie pomaga to, że książka jest napisana wierszem. To co bohaterowie robią i mówią miesza się ze sobą, nie jest jasne i przejrzyste. Zdecydowanie łatwiej byłoby czytać, gdyby ta sama książka była napisana prozą. Akcja jest ciężka do zrozumienia, nawet kiedy przed przeczytaniem księgi zanalizuje się streszczenie. 
Poza tym przez cały czas miałam z tyłu głowy wiek bohaterów. To, że Zosia miała czternaście lat a Tadeusz ponad dwadzieścia???? Jeszcze pomylił ją z Telimeną, która była dojrzałą kobietą. Czułam się dziwnie czytając o dziewczynce w moim wieku biorącej ślub z mężczyzną dwa razy starszym. Ktoś mi powie, że to inne czasy, ale to nie sprawia, że jest to mniej dziwne.
Jednak spodziewałam się, że zostawię tu jedną gwiazdkę.
