i can’t in any way give this series anything under 4 stars, i’m just too emotionally attached to it. 
the action kicks off from the very beginning and you never get a chance to be bored. there’s so many pieces of the puzzle already thrown at you, which might be confusing if you’re just starting this for the first time, but as the story progresses it becomes so satisfying to see how many clues were right there from the start. one thing i always loved about this series was how everything fit together and how all the character’s stories were intricately woven together, and it’s nice rereading it now (altho admittedly my memory of the plot is very vague at best), knowing how things unfold for them, and realising how amazing their development is. 
anyway the nostalgia was too much, i’m so happy to be returning to this story and these characters. i also love seeing how much the art has improved over the series!

When it was originally being published, "Pandora Hearts" never quite managed to grab my attention and keep me reading past the 2nd chapter. However, I have been massively enjoying Mochizuki's current series, "The Case Study of Vanitas", so I wanted to try and revisit this.

And don't get me wrong - the art is rough, especially in comparison to the beautiful flow of Vanitas, and the narration in the first volume is a little clumpy. But there genuinely seems to be a lot of promise in the story so I am looking forward to seeing where it will go.

Darkness

I don't know what to write. Like we didn't get a lot. Like at all. The story started cheerful about the coming of age ceremony and running from housekeeper to dark turn with abyss and people who sent the main character there because of some kind of sin. What sin? We don't know. Only we know he did something I guess and he is in contact with a weird girl without memories. Got old looking watch and a crazy dream of that girl almost killing him.

Good start, I've read this manga before, but don't remember where I'd stopped. So starting ove and going to thoroughly enjoy it.
