Kluane National Park & Reserve of Canada Management Plan

Kluane National Park & Reserve is located in the south-west Yukon. This plan document provides long-term strategic direction for management of the park & reserve over the next five years. It first introduces the purpose & objectives of the park, the co-operative & ecosystem-based management approach with local First Nations, the planning context, and the vision for the park. It then describes the park's natural features & environmental stressors and sets out goals, objectives, & actions related to natural resource conservation, cultural heritage resources, First Nation traditional uses, tourism & visitor services, recreational use management, partnerships & public involvement, administration & operations, and park zoning. Priorities for plan implementation are also listed. The final section summarizes an environmental assessment of the management plan.
