Part of Your World A Twisted Tale
Reviews

world building in the first quarter of the book was going great but then ariel started opening her mouth and the writing got so bad.

so not my favorite of the twisted tales and think it was just mostly too slow for me. there wasn’t really a lot of action going on until the last 100 pgs. eric did have some good moments though that i enjoyed.

This book was better than as old as time, which I've read a little while ago.

It didn’t really have the effect or feeling I expected it wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t read it again personally.

** spoiler alert ** Different from what I was expecting but still amazing all the same! All I have to really say is that this book was so wonderfully detailed and I felt was paced very well. My only problem was the end. I felt like the climax was perfect but the end to Ursula felt very meh. I thought it would be a little more epic than it was and i had to reread because it wasn’t super clear what had happened. I really liked Vareet and Jona and all the returning characters, it really felt like a continuation of the characters. I feel like there wasn’t too much characterization for the side characters, i didnt realize how young Vareet was until the end but i still enjoyed them. i also loved seeing carlotta and grimsby and how they interact with the castle and eric as well as eachother. i also enjoyed getting to see the manipulative side of Ursula especially as a human. It felt like actual consequences and her threats actually made sense and actually had me stressed. i loved the idea that their powers were useless on land and just the explanation of the physics behind water and earth. how atlantica wouldn’t have ceilings and how everything would be much heavier on earth. it was fascinating! maybe it’s just my utter love for the disney movie growing up on it and knowing every line and lyric from the movie. it was and still is my absolute favorite.

* I got this book for the publisher for my honest thoughts, I also give it 3.5 stars for my review* I really enjoyed this twisted tale. I loved the premise of this book. It was super fun and interesting to be in all the characters heads throughout this novel. It def made me understand all these characters and see them more as 3D character. I thought Ariel the character had such a unique arc in this novel and it def let it open for a sequel. I just found this be a super fun read and hope to read more of them in the future! I really enjoyed the duel focus on Ariel and Eric and how much we learned about them! I thought the book was on the longer side and thought it could have been condensed a tad but overall I found the story and plot to be compelling to read!

This one wasn’t bad by any means, but I can see myself already forgetting the majority of the details. I thought it was a tad bit too long for what it ended up being. Although, the ending was nice. As always I do enjoy the expansion of the character’s personalities and their depth as opposed to the movies.

This is my least favorit in the series because it just wasn’t for me the plot was ok and the characters were not written that good and also I needed weeks to finish this and I also never had the motivation to read it because I just thought it was kinda boring but at least the ending was good even though it was really fast paced.

2 1/2 eerder.
