I really enjoyed this one, another great addition to the series! I was really hoping that the one particular case in this book went a little differently, but overall, really liked the storyline. Still highly recommending this series if you haven't tried it yet!

When a preacher with a message of hope for the homeless is found brutally executed, reporter Cindy Thomas knows the story could be huge. Probing deeper into the victim's history, she discovers he may not have been as saintly as everyone thought. Rich, beautiful, and powerful, Isa and Ethan Bailey were living in the spotlight as San Francisco's perfect couple until they are found dead in their luxurious home. As the hunt for two criminals tests the skills of the entire Women's Murder Club, sparks begin to fly between Detective Lindsay Boxer and her partner, Rich Conklin, making it difficult to stay focused on the case.

Well, I'm happy to say that the good parts of the last novel continued on into this one. I liked the story line, I found the society killer interesting and I didn't want to stab anyone. All good things.

There was much less of Yuki in court and that made me specifically happy. I like how the author's kind of make her story line an incredibly torturous one and then they have the balls to point out her terrible luck like they aren't the one creating it. Definitely very interesting.

A little more Clair this time but not much. But what was there I loooooved, she was super snappy and I liked it.

Cindy, MUCH more Cindy. Absolutely adored her this time around.

And I'm totally excited about the outcome of the Lindsay love triangle. Made me happy.

On to the next!
