If I Only Had Wings

Sam is a naive 19-year-old, who because of poor eyesight cannot become a fighter pilot during World War II. But life on the ground is often complicated, as Sam embarks on a romance with a WAAF, Pearl, and wrestles with his conscience over the actions of his corrupt superiors.
