I enjoyed the build-up, and getting to know each family member (crazy how different people in one house can be) until the Dickie’s “mistake” was revealed. Then it felt messy.

Pretentious, awkward, uninspiring

A compelling, touching and, at times, darkly comic family saga, which deftly interweaves present crises with the secrets of the past that have led inexorably to this point.

A powerful story with some really well written passages. Well worth a read.

Connor Martyn @connorm
Great story but terrible choice to have sections of the book without grammar.
