I did not realize that this was the fourth book in a YA paranormal series but there was enough background given and the book was well written enough that I did not feel as if I was missing anything. That being said, I will go back and read the first three books in this series. In this book, the last book, twins Gabe and Jude, half-human/half-angel, want to release the Fallen (their angelic fathers). Their memories, wiped away for the last year, come back to them and the two bring their fighting factions together for one hell of a battle. This book has action, romance, mystery and humor. A good series for high school readers and adults alike. I received a copy of this book from Amazon Vine in exchange for a honest review.

Captivating. Although I didn't really like the ending (I mean it seemed a little bit hurried and superficial compared to the books before), still the action was well drawn. The characters got a little too easy over their issues. But I did like the series and there were moments I was very into the story.

Okay, it's been an intense 3 days of reading and it has totally been worth it. It's crazy how I loved these books just as much the second time around as I did the first. I loved the characters and the storyline and the whole thing. This series was crazy good and intense considering it all took place in like a two week period. It didn't even register the third book was set over like a 10 hour period. That's it. It's totally mentally how much was packed into these books and I am just as grateful this time that I binge read the series instead of having to suffer through some of those cliffhanger endings!

The conclusion to Gaby's story was just as good as the first three parts. Her getting her memories back did nothing to stop that. Sure, she remembers things she regrets and she remembers what led her on the path to that first book but God damn was it good. You got the weird tension between her and Rafa and everything that went down. And Jude! I love Jude he is just awesome. And the rest of the Rephaim! I wanted more Micah time and more time with all of them really.

Really, I just wish we got more in this final book. I enjoyed every page but when I was at the end I was just like, is that it? There is so much more story to tell. It ended perfectly. It ended like every other book. It left me wanting more and I just know I'll be rereading this again in the future. Especially as I know have physical copies sitting pride of place on my shelf.
