i've read this 2 times and this was freaking amazing- istg- the mystery just everything was amazing, ALSO i can't wait to read just all the other books i am so excited and i have guesses abt the couples AGH BUT let's talk abt hawkearo, pls amazing i was flipping over every chapter agh truly amazing i loved them i literally just want to scream this felt like returning home, to fall away lane. i just want to cry, lmao all the legacies here make me wanna sob. - ""You've heard the stories, right?" I stalk her. "The girl who fought back? Childhood best friends who became enemies who became lovers?" Jared and Tate stories still circulate around my old high school. As long as I could keep her. Of course, my family is amazing, and I'll always have them, but I loved Aro that morning and how she seemed to understand that I had just needed someone to talk to. I told her stuff I would never tell my family or friends, because I knew she wouldn't laugh at me. I loved her in that planetarium and when we made pizza for breakfast and when I saw her standing alone at my college and watching the other students. I wonder if I might've even loved her on the fire escape in the rain that second night. I don't want her to ever speak another word again that I can't hear." - "You're the only time I've ever felt it," "What?" "Live or die. You or nothing""I have to have vou." I JUST STOPPED BREATHING!!! I am super excited for this book. 2019! nooo. wayy too long.
03/22/22 Phenomenal. Jaw dropping. Give me the next book. I'm so excited 10/31/21 Crying and screaming in utter happiness after seeing the synopsis and getting a release date for this book. You have no idea how excited I am. Past review: I want everyone to know that once this book comes out, I will be dropping any of the books that I am currently reading to just read this. You have no idea how obsessed I was with Bully, Rival (Especially Rival), Falling Away, Aflame, etc.
Disjointed and confusing, I’m usually a P Douglas fan but this was such a let down, confusing character development and non organic relationships, just wasn’t for me.

The book was great to read in a few days but couldn't really get it started at first because of a reading slump, but it was very good. I actually haven't read the other series about their parents but I just got finished with Bully, and how the last part of the chapter was factored into Falls Boys was really nice.

LOVE me a good P. Douglas book BUT this didn’t get good til almost the 300thpage… took me way to long to finish cuz i just never wanted to pick it back up which hasn’t happened yet w Penelope.. i will say though, i LOVE Dylan 🤍 can’t wait for her shining moment
Falls Boys (Hellbent #1) by Penelope Douglas Fall Boys starts the spin off series from Fall Away and all about the kids. Can be read as a stand alone but I was so happy I finished Fall Away series to get a feel of the parents. As always Penelope Douglas has me wanting to live in their towns with the gorgeous aesthetics. Loved Aro and Hawke. Huge girl crush on her as she does what ever it takes to take care of her brother and sister. Both are protective of their family members. Loving the mystery surrounded the legend in their town that I can not wait to get more of hopefully in next book.
PEN IS AN ICON AND ID DIE FOR ANY BOOK THAT THEY EVER WRITE. ARO WAS A FUCKIN BADASS AND I ADORED HER, HAWKE WAS JUST GAH I LOVED HIM, AND I FUCKIN LOVED THEM TOGETHER 🫠
