Heat Wave

Pauline is spending her summer at World's End, a cottage somewhere in the middle of England. Next door is her daughter Teresa, her husband Maurice and their baby son, Luke. But when a heat wave hits, Pauline begins to notice Maurice is growing more and more involved with the book his writing - and his copy editor. This is a portrayal of a fragile family damaged and defined by adultery, and the lengths to which a mother will go to protect the ones she loves.
