3.5 stars ✨ okay I finished this in a day, literally in a few hours. PHEW. Hot stuff. I get some litttttle omega verse vibes with the whole elixir thing. Ellie pisses me off. Sully pisses me off. I love and hate them. The caveman HAS to be Sully- like wtf?! There’s no way. Also- Sully and his brother Drake? On an island in Indonesia? I think someone played some Uncharted 🤣 anywaysssss I wanted to pick up something else but I literally can’t stop this series so let’s go book 3!

OH THE STEAM! This book was so much better than the first one. I can't wait for the crazy thing to happen in this series, as there is always something insane that happens in a Pepper Winters book! I love how each book seems to end in a steamy cliff-hanger.

           How many times. Can you be cock blocked. In one book. The limit does not exist. 3.5 I’m frustrated as fuck but it’s good and I have to keep reading the series because I’m gonna die. Ugh
