Perfect is about a girl named Isabelle who suffers from Bulimia she had recently lost her day and her eating disorder in my opinion was how she decided to try to take control over her life. Her family is the type that held everything in and tries to continue on like nothing happened but you can tell things we’re hard we meet a few other characters such as Ashley who I am pretty sure her eating disorder warrants a treatment facility as it was getting to the point she was coughing up blood. I have to say this book was an over all good fiction view into EDs and depression.

I felt like I could really sympathize with the character, since its a topic many girls have trouble with. Self image is a major thing and the need to be perfect.

This book was super popular at my middle school. It spread like wildfire. Everyone ordered it from the book order and read it again and again. Or maybe I have a bad memory and it only seemed like they did. Still, this book followed me around seventh grade and I'm sure I read it more than once.
