A Court of Thorns and Roses Book 3

So far, this is my favourite out of the series. 

- Feyre is a bit less annoying and unreasonable ;). 

- Bryaxis, the Bone Carver and the Weaver. 

- Telling me that someone is super powerful, but not really showing it. Avoiding putting their power into words, in a way like: ‘He/she is so powerful, that I can’t talk about it…’ 

- The enemy. I don’t feel his power. You’ve been telling me that the High Lords, and especially Rhys, are sooo powerful, and that with all their powers combined… Hybern is still more powerful? How? 

- Bringing back characters that died. Just let them die, or don’t. Death looses it’s meaning, it’s danger. 

- Bringing back Rhys the same way they did for Feyre, but not giving him the powers of all the High Lords and not explaining how that’s possible, just letting Rhys say “You lot will be pleased to know…My power remains my own. No thieving here.” 

They gave a part of themselves… Why would Feyre get the powers, but not Rhys?

So far, this is my favourite out of the series. 

Here are some notes. 

Things I liked: 

- Feyre is a bit less annoying and unreasonable ;).

- The library.

This book just made me feel like I was watching a high quality action movie! The descriptions are so good you can picture the action scenes in your mind. It was great to read all the powerful characters, and the war unfolding. Definitely a great read!

I am so obsessed with Feyre and Rhysand that it physically hurts me. What also hurts me is that I cannot go to Velaris. Basically I love this universe to the highest degree. These characters are just everything to me. Just know that I needed every word of this book like it was OXYGEN.

Love feyre. Love Rhys. Couldn’t put it down. I was gasping and pacing at multiple parts. And yet, I can’t deal w the “I’m gonna kill them, just kidding they magically lived!” Trope more than once, MAYBE twice. And SJM is guilty of that one sooo much esp in this series. Also the whole growls of pleasure drown out the sound of the dying and injured 🫠

There were so many plot twists throughout this book it was crazy. The universe that this author has created is so complex and interesting. Character development for some many different characters is amazing. 5⭐️ read for sure!! I am disappointed I waited so long to read this series bc of other readers negative views on it. I could totally picture this being a HBO show like Game of Thrones!!

I am so obsessed with this series, but I am so sad that Feyre and Rhys's story is coming to an end. I loved seeing how Feyre brought down Tamlin's court, it was so interesting watching all of her little seeds fall into place. This book had so many plot twists, and the last 100 pages had me in an absolute chokehold. WHEN NESTA LAID ON TOP OF CASSIAN?!?! Gagged, I was literally in tears. The ending was so good and I cannot wait to finish this series (even though I don't want it to end).

You know what parts made me cry. I wish SJM actually killed her main characters. Also Mor sucks! Sorry not sorry! The scene where ___ dies and Feyre is screaming broke my heart the graphic audio was chilling!
