The soldier lunged for us, and Mor’s blade lashed.

Cassian growled at what it revealed. Who it revealed.

It's so cleaver because I was constantly thinking where was her father all this time because it was a little strange but I thought maybe we'll see that he died or something but then this happened. I was thinking about him but no so much as to see this coming. Certainly not this. I'm still shocked. I did anticipate Autum Court joining and Miryam and Drakon...but him? Nahhhha.  Omg I love it.

Death was a huge part of this book—since the very beginning. War is something that is complicated and messy, and involves intense planning and strategizing, and I think Sarah J. Mass did an 

I have to admit, there were parts where I got bored, and had to push myself to get through.

Rhysand’s death was something that I knew about going into this series—and it was still emotional, but I’m glad he was brought back.

This book took me FOREVER to finish, but I’m so glad I did.

Death was a huge part of this book—since the very beginning. War is something that is complicated and messy, and involves intense planning and strategizing, and I think Sarah J. Mass did an excellent job writing it.

I have to admit, there were parts where I got bored, and had to push myself to get through.

But when the action happened? Brilliant.

Rhysand’s death was something that I knew about going into this series—and it was still emotional, but I’m glad he was brought back.

If Feyre can be brought back, so can he.

. . . Except thier dad. 🫢

There was so much to unpack with this holy moly the whole gathering of the high  and not knowing who the trust and THE BATTLE WOAH god the way this is written is beautiful

The way everything clicked in the right place, the ones who deserved punishment got it, everyone who should’ve was eighteen There wasn’t that much sex scenes and since a war conflict was about to come, it was right. I couldn’t be more satisfied

Knížka se mi moc líbila, ale mám k ní jednu výhradu. Najednou se tam objevily LGBT prvky. Abych vám to vysvětlila, vůbec nic proti LGBT komunitě nemám, mám v ní kamarády atd. ale když Maasová najednou udělá LGBT lidi až ve třetí knize, přijde mi to hodně nepřirozené. Kdyby se LGBT jedinci objevovali už v první knížce, nepřišlo by mi to tak zvláštní jako v té třetí. Vypadá to, jako by po Maasové někdo chtěl, aby udělala LGBT páry a tak jich tam šoupla co nejvíc a doufala, že si toho nikdo nevšimne. Ale bohužel, v té knize to vypadalo hodně nepřirozeně.
Proto dávám 4*/5*, jinak zbytek knihy samozřejmě paráda 🖤✨

I am genuinely speechless. The amount of emotions this book made me go through was insane. But I loved every second of it I wish I could read it over for the first time again and again. I never felt so attached to a set of characters before them. This little family. I’m so glad I got to live in their world through Feyres eyes and see all the love and hope they had for each other.

after finishing a near 700pg book - I deserve a hiatus

Yes, I went down that rabbit hole (and yes, Instagram made me do it) and what can I say: guilty as charged, those books were easy to read (think lord of the rings meets 50 shades of grey meets Twilight (without the glitter!)) - perfect/ worrisome distraction. But now, after the third book of this series, I am done (I think, I hope, it cannot be healthy to read this much this fast).

Feyre and Rhys’ relationship developing in such beautiful ways, Nesta and Elaine getting more story time, Amren and decoding the book, THE LIBRARY SCENES and Bryaxis, The weaver, the bone carder, the build up of the war, Cassian and Azriel’s fighting skills, the courts coming together to fight the threat of Hybern, Rhys giving up everything for the others to have a chance of survival, Nesta’s powers, Amren’s sacrifice, everything is coming together so nicely and it is crazy how hooked this book has gotten me to read more fantasy. The only thing I did not quite agree with was Elaine killing the king. I see how Sarah gave us the appropriate build up for it to happen, but I would’ve rather have seen a 1v1 kind of fight with Rhys and the king, or the king vs. Amren/Nesta.

Help I am stuck in Prythian and I like it.

There’s just something so addicting about this series! Thoroughly enjoyed this book with all the twists and turns and thrilling action sequences. It felt like I was drowning in despair at some point with the characters during the war, only to be salvaged by the warm blanket of magic that comforted me by the end of it.

Pretty good book. The last 3rd of the book was better in my opinion than the middle and maybe even the beginning. I will read the next one but in my opinion Throne of Glass is still a better series.
