Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth

Max The night I enter The Sophisticate, I never intend to leave. Especially after she graces the stage and hypnotizes the crowd. Hypnotizes me. Rules are rules. And the rules say look but don’t touch. I won’t defy, but it doesn’t mean I won’t toe the line. That is until I meet Tami. Her fire and determination make me question every principle I have in place. Tami When I join a new gym, the last thing I expect is to drool over the instructor. But I do. Max may be temptation and sin in a beautiful package, but I don’t date. My number one hard and fast rule. They say rules are meant to be broken. And who knows, maybe they’re right. I may not break the rules. But what happens if they bend? Bent rules create fractures. Fractures lead to cracks. And cracks split a heart in two. **Sweet Tooth contains content that may trigger some readers.

.....𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒈-𝒍𝒐𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒆𝒊𝒏. 𝑩𝒆𝒈𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒕. This book is different... a good way different. To be very honest, I was doubtful about the beginning but @PersephoneAutumn wrote this story in such a manner that I went "woww." The sexual chemistry is top notch and is fire. The characters have flaws and have their intentions prioritised from the start which afterwards change. You'll probably be thinking why should I read this when you're 25% in because the mystery is almost out and predicted but honestly, do continue. The flirting, the "fuck me" eyes, the innocent yet purposeful teasing and turmoil along with the raw emotions; all connect with each other to make this a great read. **Sexual Assault Trigger Warning** The end was definitely something totally unpredictable, I didn't see it coming at all but it gave the relationship a shape which was required. Max was on my shit list. You'll find him to be cocky, somewhat arrogant and over confident and the leader of fuck boys gang. But he knew his behaviour and was honest with himself too. Ofcourse, he was a good guy, did feel guilt, did reassess his attitude and did come out as Max 2.0. Tami is sweet, a good citizen, practices as a nurse in dental hygiene, lays emphasis on her health and leads a montonous life (maybe?) but some of her past actions makes her vary of building a bond. Candy is a mysterious firecracker who knows how to use her body in her advantage. I really liked this story. Again, this is a bit different and even though it is categorised in romance, you won't feel the lovey dovey stuff until the very end but instead will feel the heat. Some scenes will make you stop and think whether what was done is wrong or right. ••••••••••••••••••••••• I've recieved an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
