I think I've read a Jack Reacher novel before, but I can't remember which one. He is a man's man, I think. Personally, I'm not that into lengthy discussions of guns and other weapons, or what one must do to make them air correctly. Reacher is an ex-military cop who know seems to be a wandering mercenary who just falls into the situations that need his help. Some of his exploits were interesting, but it was all a bit OTT for me. If you LIKE real gung-ho man's man, derring-do against impossible odds kind of stuff from a really not all that sympathetic of a character, then you will probably like this book.
