I read a review of this book that compared the character of Edeard to Neo from the Matrix trilogy. I agree, and that got kind of annoying for me because it said to me that he was ALWAYS going to win. I was right. No spoilers here but...yeah. Nevertheless, an excellent second installment in the Void trilogy as the tension is non-stop and my interest in the myriad of characters grows despite their numbers. Looking forward to the finale - The Evolutionary Void. Onwards with anticipation and not a little trepidation!
