Equally as rivetting as his first book, River Town. The way Hessler finds himself connecting with people and following their stories is remarkable. 

The book is split into roughly 3 sections:
1. Road Trip along the Great Wall to Inner Mongolia
2. Living and joining a remote rural community a couple hours from Beijing
3. Following the journey of 2 business partners opening a factory in a factory town before it even became a factory town. 

I think the book only gets better and better, but Peter's insights into China can be found throughout the book. The way these factory towns just popped up is endlessly fascinating and I will need to learn more about this
