The Christmas Guest A Novella
Reviews

Weirdly compelling but yet unsatisfying in the end

fun lil thing

A decent story by Peter Swanson. Some of the parts were a little convoluted, but still a breeze of a read.

A woman in New York remembers a Christmas long ago when a murder occurred in an English country manor on Christmas Eve.
This little novella has all the lovely Christmas tropes and is the perfect length to read on Christmas Eve in one sitting. I loved the twists and the ambiance.

A quick, easy, holiday thriller. I did guess the twist but only part of it, and it was fun to hear the whole twist and the whole thing was wrapped up pretty neatly. Not a great deal of character development, which I think would have been nice, but again, it’s so short I think this novella accomplished what it set out to do.
