I’m torn with this one… 2.5* maybe 2.75*?

It was anticlimactic and feels very forgettable. Still liked the eerie and haunting feeling I got, but something was just missing. 

Definitely going to bump up the rating for Arsdale’s second book “The Cold is in her Bones” which I still think about a lot, so it did leave a much higher impression than I initially thought and in hindsight it gave me more creepy and eerie vibes than “The Beast is an Animal”.
