This book has been one of the shortest books I’ve ever read. Yet, this book is one that has stayed in my heart, a book that helped me overcome my fear of annotating books, a book that made me feel so many things.
In a nutshell, this book can be described as heartfelt, emotional with descriptive writing.
This book at first seemed like a book that wouldn’t enable me to picture the scenes in my head, only with the book’s descriptions; the description just seemed too less, but the actual content pleasantly surprised me. I could picture every scene in my hand, and feel the emotions of Lila while agreeing with the fears of Lalchand.
This book also made me appreciate Lila and Chalak's beautiful friendship. Their friendship could go through so many obstacles yet, it wouldn’t break. This friendship seems like one that would last for ages.
This book also incorporated so many different cultures into one book, and with a fast-paced plot, this book makes an amazing read for beginner readers or readers who are in a reading slump.
So, I recommend this to anyone who wants a quick, emotional and beautiful read.
