While there is some solid advice around the importance of blogs and websites, email newsletters, and creating a platform that you own and control in your website, a lot of the information feels dated when it comes to the social media side of things, which unfortunately makes you question a bit the advice from the first half of the book regarding websites. 

Even still, I was able to take a few ideas that I'll apply to my own platform for AIC Stories at aicpod.com and hopefully use it to help engage more of my story-loving listeners by providing more useful content in addition to just the podcast episodes. 

I got this to read for free via Amazon Prime Reads, so it was worth a look. Not sure I'd recommend buying it at full price otherwise.

As a blogger, I relate so much with this book and as many reviews say, this book is generous. I feel as if it is a text book that I would want to come back to anytime any other day when I need the motivation and when I'm stuck with delivering my message to the world. Sadly, I borrowed this book from my company's library and so I have to return it. Would love to get the Kindle version of it for safekeeping.
